The 3-D Commission co-sponsored this seminar hosted by the Boston University School of Public Health. The seminar convened experts in public health to discuss the narrative of COVID-19 in their own country and region from the perspective of national numbers, government response, and consequences. Speakers included Dr. Kalpana Balakrishnan, Dr. Heidi Larson, Dr. Jeannette Vega, and Dr. Sherine Shawky.

This event, hosted on the occasion of the 73rd World Health Assembly, explored how big data can inform our understanding of the social determinants of health and influence public policy to keep people safe and healthy. Speakers included Dr. Naveen Rao, Dr. Sandro Galea, Ambassador Eric Goosby, Dr. Rebecca Martin, Dr. Muhammad Pate, Dr. Sabina Faiz Rashid, and Dr. Sheila Tlou.
