William B. Weeks, MD, PhD, MBA

William B. Weeks, MD, PhD, MBA, is a Physician-Economist in Microsoft’s Healthcare Industry Solutions and is the Medical Director for Bing, Microsoft’s search engine. In those capacities, he conducts research and works with customers to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more by conducting helping payers, providers, pharmaceuticals, pharmacies, and policymakers achieve the quadruple aim and improve care value for the patients and populations they serve.
Dr. Weeks has published a book and over 200 peer-reviewed manuscripts examining economic and business aspects of health care services utilization and delivery, physicians’ return on educational investment, health care delivery science, and healthcare value. Dr. Weeks has been honored with the 2009 National Rural Health Association Outstanding Researcher Award, the 2016 Jerome F McAndrews award for excellence in research from the National Chiropractic Medical Insurance Corporation Group, the 2016 Fulbright-Toqueville Distinguished Chair at Aix-Marseille University, and a 2020-23 Fulbright Specialist Award.
Dr. Weeks’ research that has been funded by CMMI, NIH, the Commonwealth Fund, the National Chiropractic Medical Insurance Corporation Group, the VA, AHRQ, and Bupa.
