Commission Chair to co-chair statewide emergency task force on coronavirus & equity

Commission Chair Sandro Galea, Dean and Robert A. Knox Professor at the Boston University School of Public Health, will co-chair a Massachusetts statewide emergency task force on the coronavirus outbreak and equity. The goal of the task force is to ensure that vulnerable populations, such as low-income people and immigrants, are not disproportionately affected by either the disease or steps taken to combat it.
