3-D Fellows
The 3-D Commission aims to engage emerging researchers around the world as 3-D Fellows. In doing so, we hope to engage a generation of scholars who are not otherwise typically involved in such efforts, particularly on social determinants of health. We will work with existing Rockefeller initiatives to identify potential collaborators.
3-D Fellowship applications will open in May 2020.

Youth Engagement
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
Governments
Placeholder text from grant proposal: “Providing pragmatic recommendations to improve health will not succeed without support from of policymakers, both local and national. As such, the Commission will aim to identify the appropriate avenues for meaningful engagement of policymakers at all levels to ensure that the work of the Commission is actionable. Such engagement may take the form of direct inclusion of policymakers in the work of the Commission. The Commission also plans to include a listening tour with policymakers early on to ensure that their perspectives are reflected throughout the Commission’s work and in its final recommendations. We believe that this will differentiate our work from all the other reports gathering dust on decisionmakers’ shelves – by incorporating their views on what data they need to make better decisions at the outset, we are convinced the Commission’s recommendations will gain traction.”
