Eduardo Gómez, PhD, MA

Dr. Eduardo J. Gómez is an Associate Professor in the College of Health at Lehigh University. A political scientist by training, Dr. Gómez conducts research on the international and domestic politics of public health policy reform, with a focus on high-growth emerging economies. His work addresses the political and social determinants of health, with a focus on institutions, health systems, and policy responses to non-communicable diseases. Dr. Gómez has previously worked for King's College London in the UK and Rutgers University in the US. He has held research appointments at the Harvard School of Public Health and the Rand Corporation. Dr. Gómez holds a PhD in political science from Brown University, an MA in International Relations from the University of Chicago, and a BA in foreign affairs from the University of Virginia.
